Terms of Service (Version 1)

1. Acceptance

By using SwimSetu you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

Registrants must provide accurate information. Administrators are appointed by MAA only.

3. Registration

Submission does not guarantee approval. Athlete and coach applications are reviewed first by the district administrator and then by the state (Maharashtra) administrator. An MAA ID (MAA-...) is issued only after final state approval.

The registration fee is payable at submission. Fees are non-refundable if the application is rejected at district or state review. A rejected applicant must start a new application and pay the fee again.

Unpaid incomplete applications expire after 24 hours and must be started again.

4. User obligations

You must provide accurate data, upload lawful documents (PDF or JPG only), and not misuse the platform.

5. Admin decisions

For athlete and coach registrations, district and state administrators may approve or reject only (no request for changes). For district-body registrations, state administrators may approve, reject, or request changes. Decisions are subject to MAA rules.

6. Intellectual property

MAA owns platform content. Users retain ownership of uploaded documents but grant MAA a license to store and review them for registration purposes.

7. Limitation of liability

The platform is provided as-is for sporting administration. MAA is not liable for indirect damages to the extent permitted by law.

8. Termination

MAA may suspend accounts for violation of these terms or falsified registrations.

9. Governing law

Laws of India. Courts at [Maharashtra jurisdiction].

10. Residency and address changes

Approved athletes and coaches may update only their address and passport photo. Submitted changes stay pending for six months. During that period the live profile, credential, and event eligibility continue to use the previous address, photo, and district. If the new address is in a different district, the registrant must acknowledge that they will not compete from the new district until the pending change takes effect.

11. Changes

Terms may be updated with notice via the platform. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
